Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Quizforge collects when you create tests or take a test, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated 28 July 2026. This page is maintained by Quizforge and describes our own practices.
1. Who we are
Quizforge is an online test and quiz creation service operated from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. For anything in this policy you can write to us at mocktestscreator@gmail.com or call +91 9019757080.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what the service needs to work:
- Account information: your email address, display name, sign-in provider (email or Google) and the role you pick (teacher or student).
- Profile information you choose to add, such as your institution, subjects or a short bio.
- Content you create: tests, questions, options, answer keys, explanations, images you link, branding settings and question bank items.
- Test attempt data: the name a test taker enters, their answers, score, pass/fail result, time taken and, where the teacher enables anti-cheat, the number of tab switches during an attempt.
- Technical data needed to serve the site, such as IP address and browser information present in ordinary web requests and error logs.
We do not ask test takers to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect government IDs, payment card numbers, biometric data or health data.
3. How we use information
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To store, grade and display tests, attempts, analytics and progress dashboards.
- To show public tests and ratings in the marketplace when a teacher chooses to list a test.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To detect abuse, debug faults and keep the service reliable.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use test content or attempt data for advertising.
4. Legal basis and consent
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you (running the service you signed up for), your consent (for optional profile details and marketplace listings), and our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure.
5. Teachers, students and shared responsibility
When a teacher or institution uses Quizforge to run a test, that teacher decides what questions are asked and what taker information is collected. We process that data on their behalf. If you took a test and want your attempt removed, contact the teacher who shared the link, or write to us and we will help route the request.
6. Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure providers to run the service. These currently include our hosting and application platform, our authentication provider, and our managed database provider. They process data only to provide infrastructure to us. If you need the current list in writing for a procurement or DPA process, email mocktestscreator@gmail.com.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary for sign-in sessions and for saving an in-progress test attempt on your own device so you can resume it. See our Cookie Policy for details.
8. Data retention
- Tests, questions and question bank items are kept until you delete them or close your account.
- Attempt records are kept until the owning teacher deletes them or deletes the test.
- Unsaved attempt progress stored in your browser is cleared when you submit or clear site data.
- Account records are deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where we must keep something to comply with law.
9. Security
Traffic to the site is served over HTTPS, passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us in readable form, and answer keys are kept server-side so test takers never receive them in the browser. Access to production data is limited to people who need it to operate the service. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Your rights
You can access and edit most of your data directly in the app. You may also ask us to provide a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. Email mocktestscreator@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
11. Children
Accounts are intended for people aged 16 and over, or for younger students under the supervision of a teacher or guardian who has agreed to these terms on their behalf.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted in the app.
13. Grievance and contact
Grievance contact: Quizforge, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Email mocktestscreator@gmail.com, phone +91 9019757080.
